Scientific Schedule
The duration of the expedition onboard Golden Shadow extended from the 3rd through 28th of April, 2009. We were expecting to have five to seven main anchorages for the Golden Shadow, and deployed small research and dive vessels from these anchorages. Our groundtruthing team covered an area that extends roughly 20-30 km from the anchorage, while dive operations were focused on reef habitats located within 20 km or less from the anchorage. We anticipated the following schedule:
