Principle Duties and Responsibilities: During research, the Chief Officer co-ordinated the resources of personnel & boats with the Captain & Chief Project Scientist. He also accompanied the researchers on day-to-day activities and drove the boats to each research site. Along with the Fleet Dive Master, Steve also acted as a Safety Diver.
Bio Summary: Steve has commercial background sailing as Chief Officer on LNG, LPG, Passenger, Cruise, Supply & Container vessels. Prior to joining M/Y Golden Shadow, he was a Fleet Safety Superintendent & Vetting Inspector. He has been sailing as Chief Officer onboard M/Y Golden Shadow since April 2007.
