Bio Summary: Captain Philip G. Renaud, USN (Ret) is the Executive Director of the Living Oceans Foundation. He came to the Foundation with over twenty-five years of hands-on experience in leadership and management roles, including seven years as a Director or Commanding Officer in the U.S. Navy.  He is responsible for building a small, fledgling Foundation into a world class ecological conservation powerhouse by leveraging global scientific resources.  He has led seven major Expeditions since coming to the Foundation in 2004. He is an avid SCUBA diver that assists in all aspects of the Foundation research and he will be actively involved in the documentation of coral reef communities using video and still photography.
